Uhh... Please don't make it a hotkey. Menu option is OK I guess, but don't see much value:
-- Personally, this is more than sufficient: "opening the doc in the current folder", and I can delete it from there, either to the recycle bin or delete permanently (with mandatory confirmation already preset in windows).
Here's why no hotkey: Those who support other users get calls, "I don't know what happened, but I was reading a doc, and not only did it close, but now it is GONE from the folder I opened it from., so I TOTALLY lost the doc too!" This assumes the user had a clue how it was opened, or where from. Unlikely at best.
If implemented though, please add a CONFIRM Y / N before deletion. Better if you must, instead: when clicked, bring up a note to first tells the user you will be opening the folder containing the file, and they can delete the file that is likely highlighted--hit CONTINUE to open the folder and show the file.
